Galil Gilboa champions of Israel!
Galil trailed by 8 at the half due to good game by Pnini and Eidson. But at the second half it was only Galil.
Oded Katash is a great coach. His Galil overachieve year by year, twice at the resent years they where close to beat Maccabi at semifinals but lost because of terrible percentages from FTs. This time Galil beat Hapoel Jerusalem at semi in a convincing ways and today they they won the final 90-77 against Maccabi.

It's worst than in France because the other israelians teams know at the beginning of the season that being champion don't give any ticket for Euroleague

They don't even want to participate at the EL, as they don't have budget for it and don't have appropriate arena for it (they don't want to play at TA, which is far from there)

Hapoel Jerusalem withdraw the ticket to EL after winning ULEB cup at 2003/4, and this year they refused to take a wild card to EL qualification stage.

But Israel has one ticket EL whereas their one team has best results than all french team participated each season.
